Will my epub be accepted on Amazon KDP?
Yes. Folio Studio generates EPUB3-compliant epub files that pass EPUBCheck without critical errors. Amazon KDP has accepted epub since 2022 and converts them to Kindle format internally.
Can I create an epub from a Word file?
Yes. Import your .docx file into Folio Studio. Chapters are detected via Word heading styles (Heading 1, Heading 2). If your Word uses manually bolded text rather than styles, first restructure it with native styles.
Will my epub layout be identical on all e-readers?
No, and that's normal for an epub. Each e-reader applies its own rules and allows the reader to choose font and size. Folio Studio templates are designed to behave correctly on all devices.
Does the exported epub contain a watermark?
No. Folio Studio exports without watermark or platform mention, including on the free plan. The epub file is entirely yours.
